More info

Border Car - "The Calculus Affair" (1956)   Under a combination of circumstances, Tintin and Captain Haddock, disguised as International Red Cross representatives, have Professor Calculus released from the fortress where he was detained. No sooner are they on the road than they are chased by two bikers ... The powerful cabriolet was created by Jacques Martin, close collaborator of Hergé for nearly two decades. It is in fact to the author of the adventures of Alix that Hergé entrusted the design of all the cars appearing in The Calculus Affair. Cars with one of the elements representing the whiskers of (Kurvi-Tache) Plekszy-Gladz, the glorious ruler of Borduria.
