While Monsieur de Mesmaeker unfortunately finds himself a "victim", Gaston seems more concerned about his turtle than about the laws of gravity. It's a scene of perfectly orchestrated chaos, where Murphy's Law is the only star dancer.
The illustrations are meticulously printed on the maple wood. This product is handmade in France.

André Franquin (3 January 1924 – 5 January 1997) was an influential Belgian comics artist, whose best-known creations are Gaston and Marsupilami. He also produced the Spirou et Fantasio comic strip from 1946 to 1968, a period seen by many as the series golden age.
