This first volume covers 1967, a pivotal year in which Gotlib, then working with René Goscinny, created the Dingodossiers, the precursors of his absurdist humor, while continuing to write Gai-Luron, the phlegmatic character who became a cult figure. Every page of this complete collection is a testament to his inventiveness, his mastery of the visual gag, and his authorial vision, already breaking with the conventions of the time. The entire collection is reproduced according to the author's original wishes and is enhanced with numerous drawings and illustrations never before published in album format.
