A great surprise awaited the tintinophiles readers of the French daily newspaper Le Monde on January 28, 1999. To punctuate the festival of Angoulême and the 70th anniversary of Tintin, the Parisian newspaper published a pastiche signed Didier Savard, entitled Objectif Monde. Here is this free pastiche to download at the bottom of this page in .pdf.
A rare special authorization was granted by the Hergé Foundation to produce this very first pastiche of the Adventures of Tintin since the death of Hergé. This story having been approved by Hergé's copyright holders, this authorized publication is considered, as such, a parody and not a pirate album.
The short history of 24 boards is rich in historical references and the world of Hergé as a whole is exploited over the pages.
The hero of this original adventure is not Tintin but a small junior employee (a simple messenger) of the daily newspaper Le Monde answering to the name of Wzkxy.
