Elves is a series of fantasy comics published in the Sun editions of February 2013, created by Jean-Luc Istin and Nicolas Jarry. This is a series of concepts: five writers, five cartoonists, five elven peoples.
Albums are released in seasons of five albums on an identical cycle: Blue Elves, Wood Elves, White Elves, Half Elves, and Dark Elves. Each writing/designing duo is attached to a town.
The originality of the series lies, among other things, in the parallelism of the stories. While the first season introduces the different peoples through adventures far apart from each other, the following albums tend towards a convergence of scenarios due to the advance of Lah'saa's armies. The characters developed in the four corners of the lands of Arran intersect on a few occasions and gradually get carried away in a common plot against the dark elf.
