Collectible Gaston Lagaffe resin figurine dressed as a Marsupilami. Inspired by the work of Franquin and created by Fariboles Productions. The sculpture was crafted by Eric Delaval. Limited and numbered edition of 350 copies. Height: 32cm.
Take a hooded jumpsuit and a garden hose for a winding, snaking tail… Slip in a human being capable of single-handedly defying the laws of gravity—and those of productivity. Add a gaze that is half-proud, half-lost… and you get a Marsupilami that is truer than life!
Because hidden beneath this costume is, of course, our dear Gaston Lagaffe: an anti-hero who landed in the world of comic strips without warning, without a job description… and with a motivation for work that is, to say the least, approximate.
A true declaration of love to the improbable, this figurine celebrates the encounter between André Franquin’s two greatest creations.
It is a moment suspended between the Palombian jungle and the corridors of the Spirou Journal offices, where Gaston’s naive enthusiasm gives birth to an imitation of the famous marsupial that is as sincere as it is unlikely. Because with Gaston, even a simple costume becomes an adventure… usually noisy, often chaotic, but always irresistibly funny.
