Attakus The Quest for the Time Bird collectible figurine: Bulrog. Limited and numbered edition with certificate of authenticity. Height: 23.5cm.
The Quest for the Time Bird is a Franco-Belgian heroic fantasy comic book series, first published in 1983. Its screenplay was written by Serge Le Tendre, and the drawings were created by various artists, depending on the cycles, or even the different volumes within a cycle. Régis Loisel drew the four volumes of the first cycle. For the second cycle, Lidwine drew volume 1, then Mohamed Aouamri volume 2, and Vincent Mallié volumes 3 and 4. The colors were also the work of several artists successively. For the first cycle, Yves Lencot colored volume 1, then Laurence Quilici volume 2, and Régis Loisel volumes 3 and 4. He also colored volume 1 of the second cycle, then François Lapierre volumes 2 and 3.
An emblematic figure from The Quest for the Time Bird, Bulrog embodies a journey of loyalty, rupture, and redemption. A Llir warrior and former student of Bragon, he embarks on a pursuit of his former master with a desire for revenge, before joining the adventurers at the heart of the quest. His path, marked by confrontation and then sacrifice, makes him a powerful and tragic figure in the work.
This statue captures all the character's strength and tension, portraying the intensity of his destiny and the nobility of his commitment.
