Collectible figurine Attakus The Quest for the Time-Bird: The Stranger. Limited and numbered edition of 150 copies with a certificate of authenticity hand-signed by Régis Loisel and Serge Le Tendre. Height: 38cm.
The Quest for the Time-Bird is a Franco-Belgian heroic fantasy comic book series, first published in 1983. Its script was written by Serge Le Tendre, and the drawings were done by various artists, depending on the cycles, or even the different volumes within a cycle. Régis Loisel illustrated the four volumes of the first cycle. For the second cycle, Lidwine illustrated volume 1, then Mohamed Aouamri volume 2, and Vincent Mallié volumes 3 and 4. The colors were also successively the work of several artists. For the first cycle, Yves Lencot handled volume 1, then Laurence Quilici volume 2, and Régis Loisel volumes 3 and 4. He also illustrated volume 1 of the second cycle, followed by François Lapierre for volumes 2 and 3.
A masked character with a picturesque temperament, he shows himself throughout the adventure to be fascinated by Pélisse's generous curves, giving rise to numerous burlesque scenes. However, it is from the fourth volume that the first signs of a certain maturity begin to emerge in him.
This statue accurately captures all the originality of this character who is at once cowardly, clumsy, and profoundly burlesque.
